Brian Krause is an American actor best known for his role as Leo Wyatt, a whitelighter on the hit TV series Charmed. He was born on February 1, 1969, in El Toro, California. Krause developed an interest in acting at a young age and made his television debut in the late 1980s with small roles in popular shows like Highway to Heaven and Tales from the Crypt. In 1998, Krause got his big break when he was cast as Leo Wyatt, the love interest of one of the main characters, Piper Halliwell, in the supernatural drama Charmed. His character, a guardian angel-like being known as a whitelighter, became a fan favorite and he portrayed Leo for eight seasons, earning critical acclaim for his performance. The show’s success propelled Krause into the spotlight and established him as a household name. Apart from Charmed, Krause has appeared in numerous other television series and films.
