Biography
Brian Molko is a celebrated English musician, singer, and songwriter, best known as the lead vocalist and guitarist of the alternative rock band, Placebo. Born on December 10, 1972, in Brussels, Belgium, Molko’s family background has Scottish, American, and Luxembourgish roots. From an early age, Molko displayed a natural inclination towards music, learning to play the guitar and piano during his childhood. After moving to Luxembourg with his family in his teens, he gained exposure to a variety of musical genres and began playing in local bands. In the early 1990s, Molko relocated to London and formed Placebo alongside bassist Stefan Olsdal. The band’s unique blend of alternative rock, glam, and punk quickly caught the attention of audiences, propelling them into the mainstream.
