Cat Deeley is a British television presenter, actress, and model. She was born on October 23, 1976, in Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands, England. Cat’s real name is Catherine Elizabeth Deeley. She began her modeling career at a young age and was scouted by an agent while studying the Performing Arts at Dartington College of Arts in Devon, England. Cat quickly rose to fame and became a familiar face in the fashion industry, gracing the covers of magazines and walking the runways for top designers. Cat transitioned into television presenting in the late 1990s and gained international recognition as the host of the popular children’s show SM: TV Live alongside Ant & Dec. Her infectious personality and natural charm captured the hearts of both children and adults alike. In 2005, Cat made her mark across the pond when she became the host of the reality dance competition show So You Think You Can Dance in the United States.
