Charlotte Caffey Biography

Charlotte Caffey is an American musician and songwriter, best known as the guitarist and keyboardist for the popular all-female rock band, The Go-Go’s. Born on October 21, 1953, in Santa Monica, California, Caffey’s love for music began at a young age. She started playing the piano when she was just six years old and quickly fell in love with the instrument.

In 1978, Caffey co-founded The Go-Go’s along with Belinda Carlisle and Jane Wiedlin. The band quickly rose to fame with their energetic punk-influenced sound and catchy pop hooks.
