Chris Noth, born on November 13, 1954, in Madison, Wisconsin, is an American actor known for his iconic roles in the television series Law & Order and Sex and the City. Noth grew up in a family of lawyers and initially pursued a career in law, attending Marlboro College and the Yale School of Drama. Noth’s breakthrough came in 1988 when he portrayed the suave and charismatic Detective Mike Logan in the popular crime drama Law & Order.
