Biography

Danica McKellar is an American actress, mathematician, and author. She was born on January 3, 1975, in La Jolla, California. McKellar’s interest in acting began at a young age, and she made her acting debut at the age of 10 in the television series The Twilight Zone. However, it was her role as Winnie Cooper in the popular sitcom The Wonder Years that launched her to stardom. The show ran for six seasons from 1988 to 1993 and earned McKellar widespread recognition and critical acclaim. Her portrayal of Winnie Cooper, a young girl navigating the challenges of adolescence, resonated with audiences and established her as a talented actress. Despite her success in the entertainment industry, McKellar also had a passion for mathematics.
