Demi Lovato, born as Demetria Devonne Lovato on August 20, 1992, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, is an American singer, songwriter, and actress. Lovato rose to fame as a child actress in the hit Disney Channel movie Camp Rock in 2008, alongside the Jonas Brothers. Growing up, Lovato showed a passion for performing arts, from singing in talent shows to appearing in television shows such as Barney & Friends at a young age. However, it was her role as Mitchie Torres in Camp Rock that catapulted her into the spotlight and showcased her remarkable vocal abilities. After the success of Camp Rock, Lovato focused on her music career and released her debut album, Don’t Forget, which spawned the hit single Get Back.
