Eve, born Eve Jihan Jeffers Cooper, is a talented American rapper, singer, and actress. She was born on November 10, 1978, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Eve demonstrated her passion for music at a young age and began singing in a local Philadelphia choir. Her talent did not go unnoticed, and at the age of 16, she was discovered by producer Dr. Dre, who signed her to his Aftermath Entertainment label. In 1999, Eve released her highly successful debut album, Let There Be Eve…Ruff Ryders’ First Lady, which peaked at number one on the Billboard 200 chart.
