Grace Kelly was born on November 12, 1929, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was an American actress who later became the Princess of Monaco. Kelly’s acting career began in the 1950s with her debut in the film Fourteen Hours (1951). She gained prominence for her roles in Alfred Hitchcock’s movies, including Dial M for Murder (1954), Rear Window (1954), and To Catch a Thief (1955). Kelly’s talent and beauty captivated Hollywood, leading her to win an Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance in The Country Girl (1954). Despite her success in the film industry, she decided to retire at the height of her career after marrying Rainier III, the Prince of Monaco, in 1956. As Princess Grace of Monaco, she dedicated herself to philanthropy and became an influential figure in promoting culture and the arts. She established the Princess Grace Foundation to support emerging artists and contributed to various charitable causes. Tragically, on September 13, 1982, Grace Kelly was involved in a car accident that resulted in her untimely death at the age of 52. Her passing was mourned by people around the world, leaving behind a legacy of grace, beauty, and compassion.
