Iker Casillas is a retired Spanish professional footballer who is widely regarded as one of the greatest goalkeepers in the history of the sport. He was born on May 20, 1981, in Mostoles, Spain. Casillas began his football career at a young age, joining the Real Madrid youth academy when he was just nine years old. He quickly rose through the ranks, and in 1999 he made his first-team debut for Real Madrid at the age of 18. Throughout his career, Casillas won numerous titles and accolades, becoming an integral part of the Real Madrid team. He won five La Liga titles and three UEFA Champions League titles with the club, establishing himself as one of the best goalkeepers in the world.
