Jacob Artist is an American actor, singer, and dancer, best known for his portrayal of Jake Puckerman on the hit television series Glee. He was born on October 17, 1992, in Williamsville, New York. Artist’s passion for the performing arts started at a young age. He began dancing at the age of five and quickly discovered his love for musical theater. He attended the Young Actors Space in Los Angeles, where he trained and honed his skills in acting and singing. In 2012, Artist landed his breakthrough role on Glee, joining the cast in its fourth season. He played the role of Jake Puckerman, the rebellious younger half-brother of Noah Puckerman, portrayed by Mark Salling. Artist’s impressive dance skills and soulful vocals made him a standout on the show, and he became a fan-favorite character. Following his success on Glee, Jacob Artist continued to build his acting career. He appeared in several films and television series, including After the Dark, White Bird in a Blizzard, and Quantico.
