Biography

Jean-Claude Van Damme, born on October 18, 1960, in Berchem-Sainte-Agathe, Brussels, is a Belgian actor and martial artist. He gained international recognition and became synonymous with the action film genre in the late 1980s and 1990s. Throughout his childhood, Van Damme developed a passion for martial arts and began training in disciplines such as karate, kickboxing, and later, Muay Thai. His dedication to martial arts led him to become a professional fighter, achieving an impressive record of 18 victories, with all of them by knockout.
