Jeremy Piven is an American actor and producer, best known for his role as Ari Gold in the HBO television series Entourage. He was born on July 26, 1965, in New York City, USA. Piven comes from a family of actors and was exposed to the entertainment industry at an early age. His parents, Byrne Piven and Joyce Hiller Piven, were both theatre actors and founded the Piven Theatre Workshop in Evanston, Illinois. Piven began his acting career in the theater, performing in various productions before transitioning to television and film. He made his film debut in the 1986 comedy Lucas alongside Corey Haim and Charlie Sheen. Throughout the 90s, he had notable supporting roles in movies like Grosse Pointe Blank, Very Bad Things, and The Family Man. However, Piven gained widespread recognition and critical acclaim for his portrayal of the brash and charismatic talent agent Ari Gold in Entourage. His performance earned him several accolades, including three Primetime Emmy Awards and a Golden Globe Award.
