Joanne Rowling, widely known by her pen name J.K. Rowling, is a renowned British author. Born on July 31, 1965, in Yate, Gloucestershire, England, she grew up in the town of Chepstow, Wales. From a young age, Rowling displayed a remarkable talent for storytelling and writing. Rowling’s life took a significant turn in the early 1990s, when she conceived the idea for a children’s book series about a young wizard named Harry Potter.
