Biography
Josh Brolin is an American actor who was born on February 12, 1968, in Santa Monica, California. He comes from a family of actors, with his father, James Brolin, and stepmother, Barbra Streisand, both being well-known in the industry. Brolin began his acting career in the mid-1980s, starting off with television roles in shows like The Young Riders and Private Eye. However, he gained recognition and critical acclaim for his performance as Brand Walsh in the adventure film The Goonies in 1985. Throughout the 1990s and early 2000s, Brolin appeared in several films, including Flirting with Disaster, Hollow Man, and No Country for Old Men, which earned him an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor. In recent years, Brolin has taken on prominent roles in blockbuster films, most notably as the villainous Thanos in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films, beginning with Guardians of the Galaxy in 2014. His portrayal of the Mad Titan has garnered widespread praise and cemented his status as a versatile and talented actor. Aside from his work in film, Brolin has also dabbled in directing and producing.
