Biography
Katie Leung is a Scottish actress, best known for her role as Cho Chang in the Harry Potter film series. She was born on August 8, 1987, in Motherwell, Scotland, to Chinese parents. Katie had no prior acting experience when she attended an open audition for the role of Cho Chang at the age of 16. In 2005, Katie made her debut as Cho Chang in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Her performance was highly appreciated, and she went on to reprise her role in the subsequent films of the series, including Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 and 2.
