Kim Jennie, better known simply as Jennie, is a South Korean singer, rapper, and dancer. Born on January 16, 1996, in Cheongdam-dong, Seoul, South Korea, she is widely recognized as a member of the internationally acclaimed girl group, BLACKPINK. Jennie’s passion for music developed at a young age, and she attended ACG Parnell College in New Zealand to further her education. Upon returning to South Korea, she successfully auditioned for YG Entertainment, one of the country’s most prestigious talent agencies. In 2016, Jennie made her debut as the main rapper and vocalist of BLACKPINK, alongside Jisoo, Rose, and Lisa.
