Lance Armstrong is a former professional cyclist who gained worldwide recognition for his impressive seven consecutive Tour de France victories from 1999 to 2005. He was born on September 18, 1971, in Plano, Texas, and initially showed a talent for sports as a teenager. Armstrong’s cycling career took off in the early 1990s, earning him numerous victories and establishing his reputation as a skilled athlete.
