Maria Kanellis is an American professional wrestler, model, and actress. She was born on February 25, 1982, in Ottawa, Illinois. Growing up, Kanellis developed a passion for performing arts and pursued a career in the entertainment industry. At the age of 17, Kanellis won a modeling contest, which opened doors for her in the world of modeling. She began her career as a model for various magazines and even appeared in the April 2008 issue of Playboy. In 2004, Kanellis signed with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and made her debut as a contestant on the reality show WWE Diva Search. Despite not winning the competition, she caught the attention of WWE management and was later signed as a wrestler. Kanellis quickly rose to fame within the WWE, becoming known for her beauty, charisma, and skill inside the ring. Throughout her wrestling career, Kanellis held various championships in both singles and tag team competition. She also participated in prestigious events like WrestleMania and Royal Rumble.
