Matthew Morrison is an American actor, singer, and dancer, best known for his role as Will Schuester on the hit television series Glee. He was born on October 30, 1978, in Fort Ord, California. Morrison’s interest in performing arts began at a young age, and he attended New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, where he studied musical theater. After graduating, he made his Broadway debut in the musical Footloose, which was followed by his breakout role as Link Larkin in Hairspray. His performance garnered critical acclaim and earned him a Tony Award nomination. In 2009, Morrison landed the role that skyrocketed him to fame – Will Schuester on Glee.
