Mike Tyson is a renowned American former professional boxer, born on June 30, 1966, in Brooklyn, New York. Tyson is widely considered one of the greatest heavyweight boxers of all time. Growing up in a tough neighborhood, Tyson faced several challenges in his early life. At the age of 13, he was sent to the Tryon School for Boys, a reform school where he discovered his talent for boxing. Under the guidance of his trainer, Cus D’Amato, Tyson quickly rose through the amateur ranks, winning various titles and even Olympic gold at the 1981 Junior Olympics. In 1985, at the age of 20, Tyson turned professional and his career took off. Known for his incredible power, speed, and relentless aggression, he became the youngest ever heavyweight champion in history when he defeated Trevor Berbick in 1986. Tyson’s aura of invincibility and devastating knockouts captivated the world, earning him the nickname Iron Mike.
