Miki Fujimoto, born on February 26, 1985, in Hokkaido, Japan, is a well-known Japanese singer, actress, and talento. She gained prominence as a member of the popular all-female J-pop group, Morning Musume. Fujimoto joined Morning Musume in 2003, initially as a sixth generation member. She quickly became a fan favorite with her powerful vocals and charming personality. In 2006, Fujimoto was appointed as the leader of Morning Musume, taking over from Hitomi Yoshizawa.
