Pauley Perrette is an American actress, best known for her portrayal of Abby Sciuto on the hit television series NCIS. Born on March 27, 1969, in New Orleans, Louisiana, Perrette grew up in several different states due to her father’s job in the military. After completing her education, Perrette moved to New York City to pursue a career in acting. She started off by performing in commercials and off-Broadway productions. Her breakthrough came in 2003 when she was cast as the quirky forensic scientist Abby Sciuto on NCIS.
