Pooja Hegde is an Indian actress and model who has made a significant impact on the Indian film industry. She was born on October 13, 1990, in Mumbai, India. Growing up, Pooja had an inclination towards modeling, and at the young age of 17, she was crowned as the second runner-up in the Miss Universe India 2010 competition. After her pageant success, Pooja ventured into the world of acting and made her debut in the Tamil film industry with the movie Mugamoodi in 2012. Although the film didn’t achieve much commercial success, it opened doors for Pooja to explore opportunities in other film industries. In 2014, Pooja made her debut in the Telugu film industry with the film Oka Laila Kosam, in which she portrayed the female lead role opposite popular actor Naga Chaitanya.
