Ranbir Kapoor is a highly acclaimed Indian actor, known for his mesmerizing performances in Bollywood. Born on September 28, 1982, in Mumbai, India, Kapoor hails from a renowned film family. He is the son of veteran actors Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh and the grandson of the legendary actor-director Raj Kapoor. Having grown up in a family deeply rooted in the film industry, it was almost inevitable for Kapoor to be drawn towards acting. He completed his education from the H.R. College of Commerce and Economics but always nurtured a deep passion for performing arts. Kapoor then honed his acting skills at the School of Visual Arts and the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York City. Ranbir Kapoor’s debut in Bollywood came in 2007 with the film Saawariya, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Despite the movie receiving mixed reviews, Kapoor’s performance was highly appreciated, earning him the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. He then went on to star in several successful films such as Wake Up Sid (2009), Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year (2009), and Rockstar (2011), which established him firmly as a talented actor in the industry.
