Ray J, born William Raymond Norwood Jr., is an American singer, songwriter, actor, and television personality. He was born on January 17, 1981, in McComb, Mississippi. Ray J comes from a musical family, with his older sister being the iconic singer Brandy. With his charming voice and charismatic personality, Ray J rose to prominence in the late 1990s and early 2000s as an R&B artist. He released his debut album, Everything You Want, in 1997, which spawned the hit single Let It Go. His smooth vocals and catchy hooks gained him a strong following and led to the success of his subsequent albums, including This Ain’t a Game and Raydiation.
