Ritesh Deshmukh is an Indian film actor, producer, and architect, born on December 17, 1978, in Latur, Maharashtra, India. He comes from a prominent political family, with his father, Vilasrao Deshmukh, serving as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra. After completing his degree in architecture from Kamla Raheja College of Architecture and Environmental Studies in Mumbai, Ritesh pursued his passion for acting. He made his acting debut in 2003 with the film Tujhe Meri Kasam, alongside co-star and now-wife, Genelia D’Souza. The movie was a success and earned him critical acclaim for his performance. Ritesh gained further recognition and success with his comic timing and versatile roles in films like Masti (2004), Heyy Babyy (2007), and Housefull (2010). He has earned a reputation as one of Bollywood’s most talented comedic actors, often leaving the audience in splits with his impeccable comic timing and hilarious expressions.
