Ryan Kwanten is an Australian actor, born on November 28, 1976, in Sydney, Australia. He rose to fame for his role as Jason Stackhouse in the hit HBO series, True Blood. Kwanten began his acting career in his teenage years, appearing in various Australian television shows and films. He gained recognition for his role as Vinnie Patterson in the long-running soap opera Home and Away, which he portrayed from 1997 to 2002. In 2008, Kwanten’s career took a major leap forward when he was cast as the womanizing, charismatic Jason Stackhouse in True Blood.
