Biography
Sebastian Stan is a well-known Romanian-American actor. He was born on August 13, 1982, in the capital city of Romania, Bucharest. Sebastian’s parents divorced when he was only two years old, and he was mainly raised by his mother, who worked as a pianist. At the age of eight, Sebastian and his mother moved to Vienna, Austria, where he attended the prestigious Montclair College Preparatory School. It was during this time that he discovered his love for acting and began participating in school plays and drama classes. Sebastian’s talent and passion for acting led him to enroll at Rutgers University’s Mason Gross School of the Arts in New Jersey, where he studied acting. After completing his studies, he moved to New York City to pursue a career in acting. In 2003, Sebastian made his television debut with a role in the television series Law & Order, followed by appearances in other popular shows such as Gossip Girl and Kings. However, it was his breakthrough role as Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier in the Marvel Cinematic Universe film Captain America: The First Avenger that catapulted him to worldwide fame. Since then, Sebastian has reprised his role as Bucky Barnes in several Marvel films, including Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, and Avengers: Endgame. His portrayal of the complex and tormented character resonated with audiences and earned him critical acclaim.
