Biography
Seth MacFarlane is an American comedian, animator, voice actor, and filmmaker. He was born on October 26, 1973, in Kent, Connecticut. MacFarlane is best known for creating the animated television series Family Guy in 1999, in which he voices several main characters including Peter Griffin, Stewie Griffin, and Brian Griffin. MacFarlane developed a passion for animation and comedy at a young age, inspired by shows like The Simpsons and The Flintstones. He attended the Rhode Island School of Design, where he created a thesis film called The Life of Larry, which eventually became the basis for Family Guy. Family Guy premiered on Fox in 1999 and quickly gained a dedicated fan base for its irreverent humor and satirical take on American culture. The show’s success garnered MacFarlane numerous accolades, including four Primetime Emmy Awards. Aside from Family Guy, MacFarlane has also created two other animated series, American Dad! and The Cleveland Show. Both shows have achieved considerable success and popularity.
