Sofia Milos is an Italian-Greek actress, best known for her role as Detective Yelina Salas on the hit TV show CSI: Miami. Born on September 27, 1969, in Zurich, Switzerland, Sofia grew up in Italy and later moved to the United States to pursue her acting career. Milos began her acting journey in the late 1990s and quickly gained recognition for her work in both film and television. She made her breakthrough in 2002 when she joined the cast of CSI: Miami as a recurring character. Her portrayal of detective Yelina Salas, the sister-in-law of main character Horatio Caine, impressed audiences and made her a fan favorite.
