Sophie Lowe is an Australian actress and singer, known for her versatile performances in both film and television. She was born on June 5, 1990, in Sheffield, England, but later moved to Australia with her parents at a young age. Lowe’s passion for the arts developed early on, and she began performing in various school plays and local theater productions. Her talent didn’t go unnoticed, and at the age of 16, she was cast as the lead in the Australian film Beautiful Kate (2009), earning critical acclaim for her gripping performance. Following her success in Beautiful Kate, Lowe went on to star in numerous Australian television shows, including The Slap (2011) and The Returned (2015). These roles showcased her ability to portray complex and emotionally-driven characters with depth and authenticity. In addition to her acting career, Lowe is also a skilled musician. In 2011, she formed the indie-pop band Soliloquy, where she serves as the lead vocalist and guitarist.
