Tuba Buyukustun, born on July 5, 1982, in Istanbul, Turkey, is a renowned Turkish actress and model. Born to a Turkish father and a Bosnian mother, Buyukustun grew up in a multicultural household, which greatly influenced her interest in different cultures and languages. Buyukustun initially pursued a degree in costume and design at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University in Istanbul.
