Vincent Perez is a renowned Swiss actor and director. He was born on June 10, 1964, in Lausanne, Switzerland. From a young age, Perez displayed a strong interest in the arts, and it was evident that he had a natural talent for acting. Perez’s acting career took off in the late 1980s when he appeared in numerous French and Swiss films. However, it was his breakout role in the 1990 film Cyrano de Bergerac that catapulted him to international fame. His portrayal of Christian, opposite Gerard Depardieu’s Cyrano, garnered widespread acclaim and established Perez as a versatile and talented actor. Throughout his career, Perez has worked with some of the most renowned directors in the industry, including Alain Cavalier, Jane Campion, and Roman Polanski. He has also starred in several English-language productions, such as Queen of the Damned (2002) and The Crow: City of Angels (1996).
