Biography

Xabi Alonso is a renowned Spanish former professional footballer who has left an indelible mark on the beautiful game. He was born on November 25, 1981, in the city of Tolosa, Gipuzkoa, in the Basque region of Spain. Alonso’s passion for football blossomed from a young age, and he honed his skills at several youth clubs before joining the esteemed Real Sociedad academy. In 2003, Alonso made his first-team debut for Real Sociedad, where his performances attracted the attention of other clubs.
