Julia Chepalova is a former Russian cross-country skier, born on October 31, 1976, in Chelyabinsk, Soviet Union (now Russia). She is regarded as one of the most successful athletes in the sport, having achieved numerous victories and accolades throughout her career. Chepalova began her professional skiing journey in the late 1990s, quickly establishing herself as a force to be reckoned with in the world of cross-country skiing. She represented Russia in multiple Winter Olympics, starting in Nagano in 1998, and went on to win a total of seven Olympic medals.
