Leisha Hailey is an American actress and musician, best known for her role as Alice Pieszecki on the hit television series The L Word. She was born on July 11, 1971, in Okinawa, Japan, to American parents. Hailey’s passion for performing arts began at a young age, and she pursued her dreams by attending both the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and the North Carolina School of the Arts. Her breakthrough role came in 1997 when she starred as Lucy in the critically acclaimed lesbian-themed film All Over Me. This role showcased her acting talent and set the stage for her future success. In 2004, Hailey landed the role of Alice Pieszecki on the groundbreaking series The L Word, which followed the lives of a close-knit group of friends in the lesbian community of West Hollywood.
