Lisa Kudrow is an American actress, comedian, and producer, best known for her role as Phoebe Buffay in the hit television sitcom Friends. She was born on July 30, 1963, in Los Angeles, California. Kudrow grew up in a Jewish family and attended Portola Middle School and Taft High School. She later graduated from Vassar College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology.
