Peter Facinelli is an American actor and producer. He was born on November 26, 1973, in Queens, New York. Facinelli grew up in Ozone Park and later attended the Atlantic Theater Company Acting School in New York City. Facinelli made his acting debut in the early 1990s, appearing in television shows such as Law & Order and New York Undercover. However, he gained significant recognition for his role as Mike Dexter in the 1998 comedy film Can’t Hardly Wait. In 2003, Facinelli landed the role of Dr. Carlisle Cullen in the popular Twilight film series, based on the books by Stephenie Meyer. His portrayal of the compassionate vampire doctor earned him a loyal fan base and brought him international fame. Facinelli reprised his role in all five films of the franchise. Apart from the Twilight series, Facinelli has appeared in numerous other films, including Riding in Cars with Boys, The Scorpion King, and The Damned. He has also made notable television appearances in shows like Nurse Jackie and Supergirl. Additionally, Facinelli has ventured into producing.
