Woody Harrelson is an American actor, activist, and playwright, known for his diverse roles in both film and television. He was born on July 23, 1961, in Midland, Texas, to a mother who was a legal secretary and a father who was a convicted hitman, serving a life sentence for his involvement in the 1979 murder of a federal judge.
