Behati Prinsloo is a Namibian-born supermodel and philanthropist. She was born on May 16, 1989, in Grootfontein, Namibia, and grew up in a small town in Namibia. Prinsloo was discovered at the age of 16 by Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Model Management, while on a family vacation in Cape Town, South Africa. After being signed by Storm Model Management, Prinsloo began her modeling career in earnest. She made her breakthrough in 2007 when she walked in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show for the first time. This led to opportunities to work with renowned fashion brands and designers such as Chanel, Prada, and Marc Jacobs. Prinsloo quickly became recognized for her unique beauty, infectious personality, and versatile modeling skills. She has graced the covers of numerous fashion magazines including Vogue, Elle, and Harper’s Bazaar, solidifying her status as a top model in the industry. In addition to her successful modeling career, Prinsloo is actively involved in philanthropic work.
