Yara Shahidi is an American actress and social activist, best known for her role as Zoey Johnson in the hit TV show Black-ish and its spin-off series Grown-ish. She was born on February 10, 2000, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to an Iranian-American mother and an African-American father.
